Shipping

Shipping Damage: Thesecurityplaceplus.com will cover items damaged by the shipping carrier. The procedures to replace a damaged shipment are as follows:
The shipment recipient must first call thesecurityplaceplus.com; 785.200.3252, to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#). No returns will be honored without first obtaining an RA#. No exceptions. Once the RA# has been issued, call the carrier as indicated on the shipping label; UPS at 1-800-PickUPS. The recipient must give the shipping carrier the tracking number(s) on the shipping label and request a pick-up because the item(s) was damaged during shipping.
These first steps must be completed within 5 business days of the shipment's delivery.
After UPS picks up the damaged shipment notify thesecurityplaceplus.com of the situation via Email; See our Contact Us page. Include the thesecurityplaceplus.com invoice/receipt number and your purchase order number as well as a description of the damage. Thesecurityplaceplus.com will replace the shipment after thesecurityplaceplus.com has verified that the shipment's item(s) was in fact damaged during shipment. This process may take 2 to 3 weeks.
Thesecurityplaceplus.com will not cover a shipping damage return and/or replacement in which the customer fails to follow the proper procedure.

Product Restrictions

It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that all applicable federal, state and local ordinances will be complied with in connection with the sale, purchase or possession of any items sold by us. Any offering of any items whether contained in the catalog, our web site, newsletters, promotional material, fliers, or any other media are void where prohibited.
If your state has placed restrictions on any of the products we offer in our catalog or web site they will not be shipped to you and you will not be billed.
At no time will thesecurityplaceplus.com knowingly sell any defense sprays or stun devices to any individual that is not of legal age to purchase or be in possession of such items. Therefore, at the time of purchase, the purchaser is stating that they are of legal age to make the purchase and that the items are not restricted for the area they are being sent to. BACK

Return Policy

We will accept products back for a refund within 30 days after the date of the invoice with a 30% restocking fee. Please note that this does not apply to all of our products. Certain items can not be returned. Each product returned must be in its original condition and ready to go back on the shelf or a higher fee may be applied. This includes the item and its packaging. For example, make sure that there are no price stickers (or residue from where they have been removed), or tags on the unit or the packaging. All returns require a return authorization number (contact us for an RA #). The cost to ship the product back to us will be paid by the customer. For your protection we recommend that they be shipped with tracking information and insurance*. If it is sent by postal service, use delivery confirmation and insure the package. If going by UPS you can use regular ground service. Insurance is not needed unless the shipment exceeds $100 in value. Please read our Retun Policy for more detailed information.

Warranty

Thesecurityplaceplus.com warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 30 days from the shipment date unless otherwise noted. Thesecurityplaceplus.com will replace any item returned to us within the parameters of this policy and found to be defective. All returned warranty-issue merchandise must be properly packed for a safe return shipment and in original purchase condition with the original packaging, the original receipt/invoice/packing slip and a an explanation of the item's problem. Thesecurityplaceplus.com will not refund, credit or cover shipping expenses for warranty item returns or warranty item replacements under any circumstances. Thesecurityplaceplus.com is not liable for misuse of its products. This warranty does not cover damage due to abuse, neglect, alteration, failure to follow instructions, shipping damage or damaged packaging.
Address Correction Policy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is very important that we receive a complete and accurate address. UPS charges a $5.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by ground and a $10.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by air therefore, we stress the importance of your providing us a complete and accurate street address, (with any apartment or suite number) city, and zip code at the time of placing your order. Otherwise you will be charged this address correction fee if your address information is inaccurate.
